We’ll feel the impact created by the events of this year for a while. Many events, both positive and negative, affected the way we work, play, and live. 

While it’s easy to focus on how you’ve been affected, I challenge you to stay focused on the impact YOU can have on others. You can leave a deep impression on many people with your personal or business mastermind. I truly believe that. I want you to believe it, too.

If you’ve read any of my recent posts, I’m probably starting to sound like a broken record on the topic of vision. Why do you think that is? It’s because nothing great happens without it!

Even the Bible says, “Where there is no vision, the people will perish.” As a Christian life coach, that’s one of the most prominent passages in my mind. If it’s in the Bible, you can bet there’s more than a hint of truth in those words. Your mastermind group can’t escape that.

Consider this year. I shudder thinking how many mentors and coaches closed up shop. Maybe there was a simple issue, like not...

We had fewer sporting events this year than any time I can recall. Even so, I’ve learned something important about teams. Teams are a huge part of a leader’s success.

While one player may score a lot of touchdowns, the whole team drives down the field. As a mastermind group leader, you’d be smart to consider building your team. This involves spending time with them, and learning their individual backgrounds and personalities. If you don’t yet have a team, start thinking about the team you want!

A clear, inspiring vision, outlining where you want to be is vital to the success of anything you do. Going through life without a vision is like trying to go on a trip without a destination. As baseball Hall of Famer Yogi Berra once said, “If you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll end up someplace else.”
